With the flame-retardant lid for a 200L barrel, you’re not just making yourself happy, but the fire department too. Safety first, people. The funnel-shaped hole in the lid directs any fire back into the trash can. Not just the fire department is happy, but the insurance company too. And you, of course.
The flame-retardant – also known as flame-extinguishing – lid makes the trash can fire-safe. It fits the metal 200L BinBin trash cans perfectly. At some businesses -such as gas stations- flame-extinguishing lids are mandatory.
Please note that the flameproof lid does not fit every 200L barrel. The vessel must be constricted at the top. That is, it slopes inward at the top. It is also called iso. SEE PHOTO!
There is a 14-cm hole in the flameproof lid. This was deliberately kept on the small side. You don’t want large trash thrown into the bin because then the bag becomes too heavy to lift out of the bin.
