The flame-resistant -also called flame-extinguishing- lid makes the trash can thus fireproof. It fits exactly on the metal 60 L BinBin bins. At some businesses -such as gas stations- flame-extinguishing lids are mandatory.

There is a 14-cm hole in the flameproof lid. This was deliberately kept on the small side. You don’t want large trash to be thrown into the trash can because the bag will be too heavy.
